BIO:
Growing up in the inner city of Rochester, NY, Tieara has seen her share of hardship and difficulties. Without big time options to express her gift of music, she collaborated and networked with many small time groups and companies, but she was unable break through the barriers and get to the next level. In 2005 she began working with Kent Handy, producer and CEO of Authority Records. Authority Records is an independent label in her hometown that has proven to be very beneficial to Tieara’s career path.   This choice has given her the opportunity and backing to perform in many of the local events surround the hip hop industry, but moreover has taken her beyond hometown exposure.  Tieara has been busy broadening her fan base and building relationships with the VIP’s of the hip hop industry.  Some of her influences include Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and Salt-N-Peppa. Road performances have become a significant addition to her road of fame, making appearances in Miami, Philadelphia, Buffalo and Cleveland. She has recently signed a two album worldwide distribution deal Authority Records, which connects her music with the hottest digital promotional company on the east coast, Cyber19.com.   Her new album/CD “Tieara Da Nu Era†released on August 31, 2010.  Tieara is excited and say’s “the female MC is back!â€
